Dr. Cecilia Wanjala

Dr. Cecilia Wanjala is a Pharmacist with MBA training from the University of Nairobi(UoN). She has vast experience in the Health industry, providing policy advisory services in strategy development to improve service delivery. She has vast knowledge and experience in innovation and research output commercialization at the Kenya Medical Research Institute(KEMRI) and an extensive network of stakeholders cutting across the public and private sectors in the region. Her major achievements include taking the lead as a technical advisor and team member in the local vaccine and biopharmaceuticals manufacturing initiative.
She is passionate about establishing local manufacturing capacity for human vaccines and biotherapeutics in Africa.
She is an ex-officio member of the Board.
