Lai is a Lawyer and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a Master’s Degree in Regional Integration and Development encompassing International Relations, Diplomacy, Regional Economic Communities, and International Organizations.

She has over 11 years of practical experience in litigation, corporate governance, policy analysis, programme management, implementation, and monitoring of Government Programmes.
