Prof. Richard Okoth Oduor

Prof. Richard Okoth Oduor is a distinguished academic, researcher, and administrator with over two decades of leadership experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and research commercialization.

He has a wealth of expertise, having served in senior leadership roles at Kenyatta University, most recently as Registrar, Research, Innovation and Outreach, where he managed a portfolio of over 1,000 researchers and spearheaded strategic partnerships, policy development, and commercialization of research outputs. He has also held key governance roles at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) and continues to chair the Kenya University Biotechnology Consortium (KUBICO).
