A comprehensive induction program held today at Mombasa Beach Hotel brought together the newly appointed board members of Kenya BioVax Institute Limited, marking the beginning of a transformative chapter in advancing vaccine manufacturing in Kenya. The event commenced with welcoming remarks and an opening address by Hon. Dr Mishra, Chair of the Board of Directors, who emphasized the board’s critical role in driving the Institute’s mission and aligning it with Kenya’s public health priorities. Designed to equip board members with a deep understanding of the Institute’s strategic objectives, the induction highlighted key milestones, including progress toward achieving World Health Organization (WHO) prequalification and fostering self-reliance in vaccine production.
